How it works

Span-eX's patented formulation acts on the microbes by disrupting their cellular membrane and inhibiting their growth, consequently, reducing the stress of microbes on the surface of the fruits and vegetables.

The microbial stress on the surface of the fruits and vegetables is reduced drastically, thus increasing their shelf life. This potable formulation creates a thin coating that prevents microbial attacks, postpones the oxidation process, and reduces the loss of water which extends the overall shelf life of fruits and vegetables.
